About Us
A Foundation Built on Lived Experience, Healing, and Purpose
InnerCoded Foundation was born from one man's journey through the justice system, the military, and decades of personal transformation — and the conviction that no boy or man should have to rebuild alone.

Demetrius Irick is the Founder and President of the InnerCoded Foundation, a healing-centered nonprofit dedicated to preventing self-destruction, restoring identity, and developing leaders through mentorship, emotional wellness, and transformational programming.
A U.S. Army veteran, IT Product Owner, author, doctoral student in Management & Strategic Leadership, and minister-in-training, Demetrius combines lived experience with disciplined leadership to help individuals, families, and communities interrupt cycles of trauma and create lasting legacies through prevention, accountability, and hope.
InnerCoded Foundation exists because too many boys and men are suffering in silence, cycling through systems that punish but do not heal, and disconnecting from the families and communities that need them most. This work is personal, it is urgent, and it is rooted in the belief that every boy and man carries within him the capacity for leadership, healing, and legacy.
Mission
To prevent self-destruction and suicide in boys and men impacted by, or at risk of entering, the justice system through healing-centered mentorship, rites of passage, leadership development, and the ASCEND framework.
Vision
A world where every boy and man has access to healing, mentorship, and the tools to lead with purpose — where transformation replaces incarceration and leadership replaces despair.
Purpose
To interrupt cycles of trauma, hopelessness, self-destruction, incarceration, and disconnection by helping boys and men develop identity, discipline, emotional strength, accountability, purpose, leadership, and community support.
